Embodied Membership Prep for Strength
This online program Phase 1, from October - December. You'll practice mastering the fundamentals to ease your body into moving - safely, before delving deeper with advanced and technical skills. This is really important, otherwise it’s not safe or constructive to proceed to an advanced level practice.
We’ll work with a baseline, conditioning and preparing the body for Phase 2 that begins in January 🥳

Phase 2 - Build New Movement Patterns 🦎
Break old habits, skillfully develop new movement patterns so your body can replicate the process, patterns becomes automatic.
Agenda: coordination & balance, confidence & control; quality of movement.
Develop physical literacy, prevent injury; squat, hinge, lift, push, pull, bend, rotate. Improve strength, posture and sleep; understand proprioception
Phase 3 - Build Core and TVA* Strength and Mobility 💪
This phase prepares for technical drills and skills in Phase 4.
Specific props and tools to progress in your plank, chaturanga, arm balance and splits skills.
Agenda: develop your core, use your TVA* and not use your neck, develop your bodyweight to control against gravity.
*TVA - transverse abdominis (deepest core, between your ribs and pelvis, like a corset wrapping your trunk from front to back) 👈 the key to optimal human movement!
Phase 4 - Learn Technical Drills that Translate to Technical Skills 🤸♀️
Specific props and tools to practice advance skills with arm balances, inversions, splits, and backbends.
Agenda: Chunking and breaking down the steps with a focused intentional practice of advanced level skills.
