I always ask my students what they need for their yoga practice of that moment. Everybody is different, some feel tightness in their shoulders, others in their hips, hamstrings, the list can go on. Headaches are common as well, depending upon the weather, which can add sinus pressure. In that case, maybe a gentler practice is needed and/or additional rest in Balasana {Child's pose}. Breathing is a very important part of a yoga practice, oftentimes, when a pose is challenging, we tend to hold our breath, which is not helpful and will make it easier to fall out of a pose faster. I read this momento in class this morning "Fear is excitement without BREATH." Don't you find that to be true? Movement and breath is so nourishing for the body and the mind - it's the union of yoga. Yoga means to yoke.
